All alone in the dark he sits
wondering what to do or where to go from here.
He has many untold secrets hidden deep inside
they are masked by pain and insecurity.
He feels if he shows these secrets to anyone,
he will be left open to attacks from people
who do not understand him or his pain.
But if he keeps these secrets to himself
he becomes very cold and distant.
He lives with the pain and hurt he feels
he is very confused and scared
so he goes through life hiding from himself
the person no one knows or has rarely seen,
for this person is buried so deep inside
that he's not sure he even knows who he is
or the person he has became.
